1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using PetPillBox ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
PetPillBox is developed and maintained by Risk Analysis Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Maryland limited liability company. PetPillBox is a product of Risk Analysis Technologies LLC.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, Risk Analysis Technologies LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PetPillBox for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission
- Transfer your license to any other person
- Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App
3. One-Time Purchase
PetPillBox is available as a one-time purchase through the Google Play Store. Upon purchase:
- You receive a lifetime license to use the App on your personal devices
- No recurring subscription fees are charged
- Future updates are included at no additional cost
- Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy
4. Medical Disclaimer
PetPillBox is a medication tracking and reminder tool designed to help pet owners organize and log their pet's medications. It is not a medical device and is not intended to:
- Provide veterinary advice or diagnoses
- Replace professional veterinary care
- Be used as the sole method of managing critical medication schedules
- Guarantee the accuracy of medication reminders in all circumstances
Always consult a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet's health, medications, and treatment plans. Never delay seeking veterinary care because of information provided by this App.
5. Your Data and Content
All data you enter into PetPillBox (pet information, medication data, photos, notes) is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of your data. We do not access, collect, or store your data on our servers.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or any other cause.
6. Notifications
PetPillBox uses local push notifications for medication reminders. While we make every effort to ensure notifications fire reliably, we cannot guarantee notification delivery in all circumstances including but not limited to: device battery optimization settings, do not disturb modes, app being force-closed, or operating system restrictions.
You should not rely solely on PetPillBox notifications for time-critical medications. Always maintain independent reminders for critical medication schedules.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RISK ANALYSIS TECHNOLOGIES LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RISK ANALYSIS TECHNOLOGIES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM MISSED MEDICATION DOSES OR INCORRECT MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
9. Changes to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time. We may update these Terms of Use periodically. The updated terms will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maryland.
